"It took me a while to convince my husband to extend our family and have a baby. So I promised him that it would be a wonderful experience and because of Michelle it was. We found Michelle in the Doula Directory online and I felt an immediate connection with her relaxed and soothing personality, After seeing her for the first time I knew we were going to be ok. I mainly searched for a Doula for my husbands sake. I needed him to have emotional support also. It was a big step for him. Michelle not only looked after me with gentle hands and heart but she gave my husband the confidence he needed to get through the pregnancy and bitrh.

Although we ended up having and elective CS, Michelle was with us before ours sons birth and after. Michelle helped me relax with reflexology and a few light jokes and she was there for my husband when our son was brought to him even before I was out of recovery.

Michelle took some lovely photo's for us and she would not leave until we felt comfortable with our new addition. She helped me breastfeed and it was just so lovely to share this with her even though it was not a traditional delivery. She was very supportive of our decission to go with a CS. This testimonial has given me a chance to say thank you again Michelle for being the very support I needed and that my husband needed.
